Being a parent isn't easy either. It can be overwhelming, lonely, and isolating when your child struggles. Even when you think you've done everything right, sometimes there are still challenges. It's a tough time to be a kid and a parent. When things aren’t going well for one child in a family it can wreak havoc on your whole life. However, I want you to know that things can change and you don't have to do it alone.

How I Can Help

My name is Kelly Bristol, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor. My passion is helping kids, adolescents, and their families learn how to navigate big feelings, stress and overwhelm. I have dedicated my career to supporting children in their journey toward social and emotional well-being.

My Approach

My therapeutic style centers on a positive relationship, compassion, respect, and empathy. Finding your way to a happier, healthier kid takes time. I believe that a warm and compassionate connection allows individuals the freedom to learn more about themselves. In doing so, they can find their own solutions that lead to a life with deeper peace and greater joy.

Finding the right person to help your child can be daunting. I’m so glad you found me. I’ll walk alongside you and your child as you navigate these rough waters.

  • “Kelly is a wonderful counselor and colleague. I’ve had the opportunity to directly observe her work with students, parents, and school staff. First and foremost, she is client-centered and has a wonderful way of building trusting relationships with the children she works with. Kelly is strengths-based and meets people where they are, to help them achieve their goals. She is creative in her approach with kids and is able to teach new skills in exciting ways. Kelly is an asset to any treatment team. ”
